Ingredients

Scale

Crust Ingredients

  • 32 Nutter Butter cookies (approx. 4 cups crumbs)
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Filling and Topping Ingredients

  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz.)
  • 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup peanut butter chips
  • 1/2 cup roasted peanuts
  • 12 Nutter Butter cookies (chopped)
  • 3/4 cup Reese’s Pieces candy
  • flaky sea salt, optional
  • 2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter (for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9 x 13-inch baking pan with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  2. Prepare the Crust: Crush the 32 Nutter Butter cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor, blender, or by placing them in a zip-top bag and rolling over with a rolling pin. In a large bowl, mix these crumbs with brown sugar and salt. Add the melted butter and stir until all crumbs are well coated. Press the crumb mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan using a flat-bottomed glass or measuring cup to firmly compact it.
  3. Make the Filling: In a medium microwave-safe bowl, melt 1/4 cup of creamy peanut butter by microwaving for about 30 seconds until smooth. Stir in the entire can of sweetened condensed milk until fully combined to create the peanut butter filling.
  4. Assemble the Bars: Sprinkle the peanut butter chips and roasted peanuts evenly over the pressed crust. Pour the peanut butter and condensed milk mixture evenly over the toppings. Scatter the chopped Nutter Butter cookies and Reese’s Pieces candy on top. Gently press all toppings into the peanut butter mixture with a spatula or fork so the ingredients adhere well.
  5. Bake: Place the pan in the oven and bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until the edges turn golden brown and the bars look set. Remove from the oven and transfer the pan onto a wire rack to cool completely. Once cool, refrigerate the bars to firm them up further.
  6. Serve: Before serving, melt 2 tablespoons of creamy peanut butter in the microwave and drizzle it decoratively over the chilled bars for an extra peanut butter punch and glossy finish.

Notes

  • For best results, press the crust mixture firmly into the pan to ensure a sturdy base.
  • Let the bars cool completely before refrigerating to avoid condensation.
  • You can substitute roasted peanuts with salted or unsalted depending on your taste preference.
  • Flaky sea salt is optional but adds a nice flavor contrast to the sweetness.
  • Store these bars in an airtight container in the refrigerator; they keep well for up to 5 days.
