Golden Grahams S’mores Bars are a delightful no-bake treat combining the classic flavors of marshmallow, milk chocolate, and crispy Golden Grahams cereal. These bars offer a chewy, chocolaty, and crunchy snack perfect for anytime indulgence.

  • 5 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1 1/2 cups milk chocolate chips
  • 5 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 1/4 cup corn syrup (or substitute with 1/4 cup sugar and 1 tablespoon water)
  • 7 cups Golden Grahams cereal
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows (additional for mixing in)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the pan: Butter or grease a 9×13 inch baking pan to ensure the bars do not stick after setting.
  2. Melt marshmallow mixture: In a large saucepan over low heat, combine 5 cups mini marshmallows, milk chocolate chips, butter, and corn syrup. Stir gently with a rubber spatula until everything is melted and fully combined.
  3. Combine with cereal and extra marshmallows: Remove the saucepan from heat and immediately stir in the 7 cups Golden Grahams cereal and the remaining 1 cup mini marshmallows. The mixture will be very sticky, so work quickly.
  4. Press mixture into pan: Spoon the sticky batter into the prepared baking pan and flatten it down evenly using the back of your spatula. Lightly greasing the spatula will make this easier.
  5. Allow to set: Let the bars harden at room temperature for about 60 minutes. Once firm, cut into squares and serve.

Notes

  • If you don’t have corn syrup, you can use a substitute of 1/4 cup sugar and 1 tablespoon water.
  • Store the bars in an airtight container at room temperature. Avoid refrigeration as it can make the bars too hard.
