Ingredients

Scale

For the Spicy Chicken:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into strips
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

For the Creamy Garlic Sauce:

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1½ cups heavy cream (or half-and-half for a lighter version)
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for extra heat)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

For the Ramen Bowl:

  • 2 packs ramen noodles (discard seasoning packets)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • ½ cup sliced green onions
  • ½ cup shredded carrots (optional, for crunch)
  • 1 soft-boiled egg, halved (for topping)
  • Sesame seeds & nori strips, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Marinate & Cook the Spicy Chicken: In a bowl, mix soy sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, smoked paprika, chili powder, cayenne pepper, and black pepper. Add the sliced chicken and toss to coat. Let marinate for 10 minutes. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the chicken, and cook for 5-6 minutes until golden and fully cooked. Set aside.
  2. Make the Creamy Garlic Sauce: In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring constantly. Add salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes; let simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until smooth. Remove from heat.
  3. Cook the Ramen Noodles: Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook ramen noodles according to package instructions. Drain, toss with sesame oil, and set aside.
  4. Assemble the Ramen Bowls: Divide ramen noodles into serving bowls. Spoon creamy garlic sauce over noodles. Top with fiery chicken, sliced green onions, shredded carrots, and halved soft-boiled egg. Garnish with sesame seeds and nori strips. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Adjust cayenne and red pepper flakes to control the heat level.
  • Fresh ramen noodles, if available, elevate the dish’s texture and flavor.
  • The creamy sauce balances the spiciness; a squeeze of fresh lime juice can enhance flavor complexity.
  • For a richer sauce, add an extra ¼ cup Parmesan cheese.
  • Avoid overcooking chicken to keep it juicy and tender.
  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for a smoother sauce texture.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days; freeze chicken and sauce separately up to 2 months.
  • Reheat sauce gently on the stovetop, adding broth if necessary.
