Instructions

  1. Prepare Dates: Use your fingers or a knife to carefully split each Medjool date in half lengthwise and remove the pits. Arrange the date halves cut-side up on a plate or a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Each date creates two fun-sized treats.
  2. Add Nut Butter and Peanuts: Spread roughly a ½ teaspoon of your chosen nut butter onto the center of each date half. Then sprinkle chopped peanuts on top to add a delightful crunch.
  3. Melt Chocolate: Melt the dark chocolate chips using a double boiler method by boiling an inch of water in a small saucepan, then placing a heat-safe bowl snug over the pot with the chocolate chips inside, stirring frequently until smooth. Alternatively, melt the chocolate in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each until fully melted.
